| I was walking down the road one day and everything was fine,
And then I turned around and realized I’d been followed by a mime.
The mine was sly and sleek.
The mime knew how to earn his keep.
He would not stop until a laugh he drew from me,
Satisfied for that was how it was mean to be.
The mime believed he was quite skilled,
I wanted away before him I killed.
Sooner or later, I wandered ahead,
But we both knew, with dreams, there’s no dead end. |
